Barb Duggan is a Licensed Massage Therapist and the owner of Connective Health Massage Therapy in Columbia, MO. She completed 750 hours of training in the Columbia Area Career Center Massage Therapy Program in 2014. Since graduating, she has completed over 160 hours of training in NeuroMuscular Therapy, as well as Burn Scar Massage Therapy, Myofascial, and advanced Deep Tissue Massage. She is also excited to have been invited to teach advanced techniques at the CACC Massage school.
Barb is dedicated to improving the quality of life for those in pain. She specializes in muscle-specific work, helping clients heal, rejuvenate, and get back to feeling like themselves. Her aim is to help clients deal with muscle soreness, chronic and acute pain, as well as physical traumas. It is her goal to lower stress through pain reduction. By incorporating various massage techniques; NeuroMuscular Therapy, deep tissue, trigger point, cold stone, cupping, and stretching techniques each massage session is customized based on your goals.
Burn Scar Massage
Specifically geared for Burn Survivors with or without Skin Grafts. The aim of this massage is to relieve physical irritations associated with 2nd and 3rd-degree burns, such as itching, swelling, and pain.
NeuroMuscular Therapy / TMJ Dysfunction / Breathing Dysfunction
This deep and detailed therapy addresses your specific muscle complaints which may include Jaw Pain and Popping, Breathing difficulties, and Range of Motion limitations. Using posture and breathing assessment, Barb will work both the aggravated muscles and those that contribute to them to reduce pain and dysfunction. Session time may include gait, posture, and breathing assessment.

• Initial assessment / 1st session - 90 Minute (consists of 50-60 minutes hands-on)
• Follow-up 75 min sessions
